Repairing Vermont

I can hardly believe that last week's flooding happened on the one year anniversary of 2023's historic floods, and affected many of the same communities who have spent a year trying to rebuild. Being a part of a community means helping take care of each other, so we try to ask ourselves what can we do?

Last year we raised and donated $15,830 to help repair Vermont. So we're once again making our Repairing Vermont pendant available for preorder, with 100% of the profits going to local relief efforts.
Last year's donation recipients included:
  • The VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund
  • The Vermont Disaster Recovery Fund
  • The Intervale Center
  • Dozens of small organizations & businesses directly affected by the flooding

This design was first created in 2011 as a way to fundraise for Hurricane Irene relief. I wanted to create a meaningful piece that conveys the strength in our community. Vermont may be broken and torn up by events outside of our control, but we hold together, and the beauty is in the binding. Each piece also has "LOVE VT" with my JK signature stamped on the back. This symbol is not only my initials, but also the Chinese symbol for "Forever".

The Sterling Pendant is 1" in length on a 16-18" oxidized sterling Silver chain. We plan to have them ready in 2-3 weeks, and they will ship out in the order they are received (you can also choose "pick-up" to come get it from our studio on Pine St in Burlington).
