Sculpted Talon Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Brass

I created this talon as an exercise in sculpting directly from my imagination, just to see how closely I could translate the form I had in my mind into metal. I loved the result enough to turn it into this small sculptural pendant!
The curved claw shape gives the piece a slightly wild, talismanic quality while its smaller scale makes it easy to wear every day.
