These ancient looking carved suns remind me of the poem by Dylan Thomas, "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night". In it he writes of not simply accepting death but fighting it... finding the light. I feel like these echo that spirit, they capture the fading light. That sentiment is further propelled by the textured dangles.
