Journey Necklace Kit

Design a journey necklace with your own beads, found objects, buttons, keys, fabric scraps, shells, coins, feathers, crystals, or meaningful pieces you already have. It is a great way to comb through old jewelry and bring new life to a single earring, broken piece, or treasured object.

The kit includes black waxed cotton cord, brass wire, chain, jump rings and clasp, head pins, leather, an assortment of special beads/objects to round out your own collection, and a polishing square — all in a cute little bag with instructions.

After laying out the pieces and deciding on the best design, use my detailed handouts to learn basic bead wraps and a bit of wire working to attach your pieces to the necklace. Then you will capture your pieces through knotting black waxed cotton into your own unique neck piece. You'll learn my finishing technique and add chain to customize the length.

You'll need your own tools: flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers, and wire cutters.
