#3 Yellow Opal Taliswoman Necklace, OOAK #3

This listing is for a lovely Yellow Opal, measuring 1 1/8" tall and suspended with a brass bail from an 18”-20" adjustable, black, waxed cotton cord (with clasp). The total length from the bottom of the Opal to the top of the brass bail is 1 3/4".

Yellow Opal has the same properties as any other Opal but it also carries additional properties associated with its color. It is said to have an uplifting and revitalizing effect, however, if you are already feeling down this is not a good stone for you as it can amplify emotions which is fantastic when you're up and motivated, but not much fun if you are feeling blue! It brings within it emotional stability and helps to reinforce positive thought patterns. Opal can encourage inventiveness and creativity. It is a great stone for removing blockages, especially self imposed ones that limit personal growth. Yellow Opal is said to enhance psychic abilities. In physical healing yellow Opal is used to treat gallstones, kidney stones and helps the body fight infection, it is also said to be useful in the fight against Parkinson's disease.
