Tiny Sterling Silver Hoops with FACETED Teardrop Sapphires

Our September birthstone is Sapphire, and once again we have some lovely, faceted teardrops to use! The deep shades of blue work so well with our brass, silver and gold and these are the perfect candidates for my style of tiny hoops!

Sapphire is said to be the wisdom stone, stimulating concentration, enhancing creativity and promoting purity and depth of thought. It is believed to focus and calm the mind as well as remove unwanted thoughts, depression and mental tension. In many ancient cultures, this precious gem was believed to make connections with the spirit world. Some people even believed that they allowed for communication with the Gods. It is said that people who visited the oracles would wear a sapphire ring (or other sapphire jewelry) to help receive a prophetic message.
