Desert Oasis Hoops with Dragon Skin Turqouise - Choose your size!
Over the years I have amassed a decent amount of brass cast elements and cut shapes and lately I've been tinkering with them as I pass through the studio, moving this element to here and that one to there, finding inspiration with one piece and then combining it with something else that I really like. The table almost looks like a mosaic itself through this process, and every once in a while, like right now, I find that I have several cohesive ideas that can be turned into a beautiful (but very limited) collection!
For this new style, we drill holes through our brass offset circles that allow us to physically stitch our Dragon skin Turquoise beads into place with silver wire, creating a woven, 12-bead grid of one of my favorite color palettes! I just love the pop of these colors contrasting against the buttery brass!
We're making these in two sizes, Small and Large- choose your favorite below!
"Dragon skin" Turquoise is viewed in metaphysical practices as a powerful stone of protection, transformation, and inner strength. Its unique, intricate patterns—resembling reptile scales— are believed to channel the energy of a mythical dragon, providing a, courageous, and protective shield against negative energy.
- Transformation and Growth: It is associated with personal evolution, helping to release old, unwanted patterns and encouraging the pursuit of new possibilities.
- Protection and Courage: Known as a "stone of courage," it is thought to help the wearer face challenges, overcome fears, and feel secure, often used to boost confidence.
- Emotional Balance and Grounding: The stone promotes inner stability and calmness, making it effective for stress relief and emotional healing.
