Artemis II Orbital Turquoise & Moonstone Necklace – Choose Your Chain

$120

NASA’s Artemis II Moon mission began the return leg of its historic voyage on 4/6/26 completing the first half of a figure eight trajectory from the Earth to the Moon and back again. This bit of physics is a marble trick that sent Integrity scooting along the curves mapped around the Moon’s gravity on a path that gets captured again by Earth’s gravity, setting them on a course to return to Earth on April 10th in a most elegant demonstration of orbital mechanics!

Inspired by this Moon-trip (of course!) I felt that I could indicate the figure eight and honor their cosmic journey with both a new style of earrings and a matching pendant! I used a mix of our hammered brass hoops to create the figure eight path and combined them with our wrapped Turquoise rounds (that so obviously look like the Earth!) and smooth Moonstone orbs to complete the design! I love the look of these even without attaching the inspiration behind them! Hammered brass hoops form the orbital path, framing a wrapped turquoise round that recalls the Earth and a smooth moonstone orb that honors the Moon. The pendant feels celestial and playful, but still clean enough to wear layered or on its own.

Stone Meaning: Turquoise is often associated with protection, wisdom, and grounding, while moonstone is connected with intuition, cycles, and lunar energy.
