Brass Sun Shield Earrings

I've been drawing this shape in my sketchbook for a while and I wasn't sure how I was going to treat the surface. After I rolled it out in PMC, I started to cut out little triangles. It wasn't until I was finishing this first pair that I really saw the sun and aptly named these Sun Shields. I imagine them as giant shields for ancient, Amazonian Sun-Worshipping Women. I'm so in love with these and feel like a Queen in mine!
These Oxidized Brass Sun Shield Earrings are suspended by Sterling Silver wire and earwires.
