December Turquoise Collection
I'm very excited to share our last Collection of 2023: The December Turquoise Collection! (It also happens to be my favorite stone and color.) I've been working with it for nearly 20 years and my most prized pieces are made with it. I just love how it's a mixture of blue sky and green grass and someday I hope to visit turquoise waters! We've made so many new pieces that will pair beautifully with all of the Turquoise pieces we’ve always had available.
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest decorative stone in our history, worn amongst Kings and Queens, Shamans, and Warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch. The delicate veining or mottled brown webbing is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character.
I'm so in love with these new Taliswoman Pendants. The shape, color, and texture of these are just beautiful. For thousands of years, Turquoise has spanned all cultures, prized as a symbol of wisdom, nobility and longevity. Among the Ancient Egyptians, Persians, Chinese, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and Native North Americans, Turquoise was sacred in its adornment and for power, luck, and protection.
We've made many of my standard designs with Turquoise and they look fabulous! It's said to strengthen the meridians of the body and the subtle energy fields, enhancing communication between the physical and spiritual worlds. Placed on the Third Eye, it supports intuition and meditation. On the throat chakra, it releases inhibitions, and allows the soul to express itself.
I was happy to source some new shapes and sizes and we've made up a bunch of small and tiny hoops.
We've even made a few necklaces and a few pairs of earrings with 24k Gold Vermeil and they just GLOW!
You can pair any of these newer pieces with any other turquoise on my site or at the studio. It all goes beautifully together and we're always happy to help you find the perfect set!
