XL Sterling Silver Monstera PENDANT with Faceted Emeralds

Our May birthstone is Emerald, and once again we have some lovely gemstones to use in our earrings and necklaces!

My dear friend Nicole of @goldenhourgiftco had been wanting me to make some sort of a plant line for years. I was all for it but hadn't found the time or inspiration to start it. Leaf rings and earrings (textured with leaf skeletons) were the first pieces I ever made, 20 years ago...

I did get my favorite plant, a Monstera, from her shop in the early pandemic days. It has flourished into quite the jungle plant in my studio! One day, a huge leaf broke away from it and it was a sad moment. Luckily, another grew right after, but having the leaf nearby finally ignited my inspiration to preserve its beauty as a pendant!

This necklace features my XL Sterling Silver Monstera Pendant center-suspended from an oxidized 24” oxidized sterling silver chain WITH a lovely 3" row of tiny faceted emeralds to really make this piece sing! 

Being a stone of love and romance, Emerald will bring joy, enhance emotions, memory, faith and clairvoyance. It is said to benefit one’s intuition, promoting communication though truthfulness. Sacred stone to the Goddess Venus and associated with the Heart Chakra, it is told to preserve love, as well as acting as a symbol of hope. It is considered by many to be a great stone of prophecy, bringing wisdom and reason to the wearer. For many, Emerald acts like a tranquilizer for one’s trouble mind.
