Sapphire Crescent Moons in Medium Silver Hoops

Our September birthstone is Sapphire, and once again we have some lovely pieces to use! The calming shades of blue work so well with our brass, silver and gold!

I was able to source a few of these faceted, crescent moons which fit perfectly within our medium-sized hoops!

Sapphire is said to be the wisdom stone, stimulating concentration, enhancing creativity and promoting purity and depth of thought. It is believed to focus and calm the mind as well as remove unwanted thoughts, depression and mental tension. In many ancient cultures, this precious gem was believed to make connections with the spirit world. Some people even believed that they allowed for communication with the Gods. It is said that people who visited the oracles would wear a sapphire ring (or other sapphire jewelry) to help receive a prophetic message.
