Lariat Necklace: RAW GARNETS (JANUARY BIRTHSTONE), Adjustable Sterling Silver chain

Our January birthstone is GARNET, and once again we have some lovely gemstones to use in our earrings and necklaces! !

My "Lariat" style necklaces are made with two oxidized Sterling Silver chains that are connected together with a traditional clasp in the back for either a 16" or 18" base length: one chain has a solid Silver ring at its end creating the loop or "lariat" that allows the other chain's end, with the lovely raw Garnet to be suspended through. We create these necklaces to be clasped at 16" or 18" long, with an extra 1 1/2" more of the chain dropped through the lariat, creating a 19" max length that can be drawn up tighter if you prefer. 

Garnet, known as the pomegranate stone, is revered for its connections to creativity and love, symbolizing courage and positive thinking, especially through its historical narratives from Noah's Ark to Ancient Greece's tale of Persephone. The healing properties of Garnet are extensive, offering physical healing by enhancing sexual energy, flushing out toxins, and improving circulation, alongside mental and emotional healing by fostering self-confidence, nurturing relationships, and promoting a positive outlook.   Garnet is associated with the first Chakra which is known as the Root Chakra. Located at the base of your spine, this chakra is associated with survival, security, stability and physical energy. Red Garnet is also associated with the second, or Sacral, Chakra. This chakra is located below your navel along the lower area of your stomach. The second chakra is associated with sensuality and sexuality, reproduction, desire, emotions and creativity.
