Turquoise Taliswoman Necklace #4

I've been sitting on these beautiful Turquoise pieces for years and I'm finally offering them up as my Taliswoman Pendants - so perfect for summer!

I have a very small batch of these really earthy, organic, center-drilled Turquoise discs that for whatever reason, whether it's the beautiful contrast in their coloring, or all of their surface details, or the hexagonal irregularities in their circular shapes, I find myself so drawn to each of them- they're like very ancient versions of the brighter Turquoise pieces that I most often use! Last year I had just enough to create a dozen earrings and now all I have left are single pieces that I realized we should make some pendants! 

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest decorative stone in our history, worn amongst Kings and Queens, Shamans, and Warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch. The delicate veining or mottled brown webbing brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character. It is said to strengthen the meridians of the body and the subtle energy fields, enhancing communication between the physical and spiritual worlds.
