#4 Raw Chrysocolla Hand-Cut Teardrop Stone TALISWOMAN, SILVER Bail, Silver Necklace OOAK #4

$125

Whoohoo! Chrysocollas have been another popular stone for all of you, so I was thrilled to source a small amount of these natural, raw, hand-cut green teardrop stones that are full of color and character! I grabbed all that they had, so this will be a very limited batch. Once we sell-out of them, that'll be it!

It doesn't matter which side you choose to display- both the fronts and backs of these teardrops are chock-full of colorful striations and micro-pitting with glistening minerals that flash in the light!

Heavenly in its calming shades of green, Chrysocolla captures the soft serenity of still water on a golden summers day. Known for lending a helping hand for those who want to tap into their highest truths, Chrysocolla has a gentle flow, inviting you to tune into your own sense of wonder and knowledge and giving you those tools you need to become your own greatest teacher.

The name Chrysocolla comes from the Greek word Chrysos meaning gold and Kola which translates to glue. A whisper of its rich and regal color scheme, golden shades mingled with Malachite, Turquose, and Azurite – forming the magical blended gemstone known as the Eilat stone. It earned part of its name kola as it was one of the first materials to be used by goldsmiths to weld precious metals together. Artists and workers loved the stone and it was often used by renaissance painters, ground down to a pigment to be used in their most epic works of art. It was beloved by Emperors and Kings, known to be a stone that carried connotations of elite living.

These raw, hand-cut gemstones are each approximately 3/8" wide x 1/2" tall x 3/16" thick and have a total height from the top of the tiny silver bail to the bottom of the teardrop Chrysocolla stone of about 1". These Chrysocollas are wire-wrapped to their bails with Brass wire for contrast and are then suspended from a 16/18"" Sterling Silver chain!
