Silver Altar Bowl Necklace
One of the first pieces I made in Bronze Clay back in 2008 was a tiny cracking bowl (see last photo). It sits on a little altar of mine with some little crystals in it...
I wanted to replicate it as a necklace and purposefully encouraged the cracking of the clay as a I worked with it. The texture on this is so amazing and looks so old and ancient... a tiny artifact! I added tiny dots around the back of the bowl- this pieces is truly reversible. I love the idea of this being used on an alter, to hold some tiny precious thing and then being worn in between. It's also very soothing to the touch, like a worry stone.
A little over 1" in diameter and it's suspended on a 16"/18" adjustable Sterling Silver chain.
