PRE-ORDER Carapace Shield Earrings Sterling Silver

I've been working on a Shield Collection. Shields and tiny armor have been a prominent theme in my work, more and more... (wonder why). I'm feeling called to make protective, BIG, BOLD earrings. I'm so glad these resonated with so many of you when I shared a sneak peek on social media!

I asked what I should name these and many wrote that it reminded them of horseshoe crabs or turtles... hence the Carapace - the hard protective shell found on the backs of animals like tortoises, crabs, and other arthropods.

While large at 2" in diameter, these are still lightweight and comfortable. I love hammering the rivet-like marks - so satisfying! I'm excited to offer these as a pre-order so I know just how many to make! It will take 1-2 weeks for us to make them (in the order we receive your order).
