Artemis Necklace with Raw Peridots! (AUGUST BIRTHSTONE)

Our August birthstone is Peridot, and once again we have some lovely examples to use in our earrings and necklaces! 

My Artemis collection was inspired by the Greek Goddess of hunting, the wilderness and wild animals! She was the Greek Goddess of wild animals, the hunt, vegetation and of chastity and childbirth. Her character and function varied greatly from place to place but behind all forms lay the goddess of wild nature who danced, usually accompanied by nymphs in mountains, forests, and marshes.

Artemis is most often depicted with a hunting bow.Equal parts feminine and badass warrior, my design for the Artemis earrings and necklaces features a hammered brass curved "bow", with Peridots in line forming the "string". 

Peridot brings the gentle energy of kindness and compassion in a joyful and harmonious kind of way. It helps let go of the old by promoting a sense of renewal and regeneration. This is a stone that is often recommended for times of conflict in romantic relationships, as it helps soothe the energy and bring harmonious resolution to difficult situation.

The width of the "string" of raw Peridots is 1 3/16" wide, the "bow" is 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" tall and it is suspended on a 16" Sterling Silver chain.
