TINY GOLD Bails with Raw Ruby, Hand-Cut Teardrop Stone Earrings GOLD VERMEIL

Our July birthstone is Ruby, and I am so glad to have sourced this particular style of raw rubies! There are so many variations of reds and pinks in each of these pieces, and because they are "raw" cuts, their overall shapes and profiles make them perfect candidates for my style of tiny hoops!

These tiny GOLD bails have our newest Raw RUBIES wrapped with sterling silver wires into their centers. These are light and dreamy and can be enjoyed for their colors even if they aren't your birthstone! And of course, they make great gifts!

Ruby is believed to promote loving, nurturing, health, knowledge and wealth. It has been associated with improved energy and concentration, creativity, loyalty, honor and compassion. Ruby is thought to be protective of home, possessions and family, and is also said to stimulate the heart chakra and bring spiritual wisdom!

These bails are made with GOLD VERMEIL! GOLD VERMEIL is a premier version of a thick electro-plating of 23.5 karat Gold over a solid Sterling Silver base- it's the right solution for us to provide everyone who wants their 永 pieces in GOLD that are durable, beautiful, and affordable! Still, we recommend that you wear these pieces gently and thoughtfully. The Vermeil is a surface finish after all, and although these pieces are quite stable, wearing these items regularly in the shower, for example, or while swimming (where various chemicals or elements could be abrasive to the finish over time) or being too rough with them, like tossing them onto a nightstand, could definitely damage their beauty! 

These raw, hand-cut, teardrop-shaped gemstones are each 5/16" wide x 3/8" tall x 1/8" thick and have a total height from the 14K gold fill earwires to the bottom of the teardrop ruby stone of 3/4". These rubies are wire-wrapped to their tiny gold bails with 14K gold wire for and are then suspended from 14K gold earwires.
