Kamala (Comma la) Pendant

On the July Full Moon, President Biden stepped down from the upcoming Presidential race and endorsed our Vice President Kamala Harris in his place. This has energized millions of people, and I would like to carry that energy forward by raising money for her Presidential Campaign through the sales of my Kamala (Comma la) Pendants! She has referenced the comma as a way to remember how to pronounce her name, so I was inspired to make these pendants in hammered silver - the shape reminds me of a wave, organic and fluid, yet strong.

It also got me to think about this symbol. Things were feeling like they were coming to an end... to a period. But here is this lovely comma, a pause, a transition.

The day the news hit, I put everything aside to make this original which we will have cast in Sterling Silver. As I started making this, I wanted a sign that I should continue... just as that thought crossed my mind, I got a text from Vice President Harris' campaign asking for a $40 contribution. So that's what I will contribute: $40 from every pendant will go directly to her campaign.
