Continuing with my sun and moon themed pieces, here's a little combo that I just adore! How do you see this piece? Is it representing both the sun and moon? Is it representing a solar or lunar eclipse? 

This design features a tiny Silver Crescent Moon riveted tightly to a Gold Vermeil Sun on a heavier Sterling Silver chain. Sun is made of Gold vermeil which is a thick electro-plating of high karat 23.5 karat gold over a solid sterling silver base. The combo medallion measures almost 3/4" in diameter and is suspended on an oxidized Sterling Silver, 16" chain.
