#2 Bookmatched AMMONITES in SMALL BRASS Contoured HOOPS, OOAK #2
Around October of last year I lucked into a few bookmatched pairs of the most beautifully shaped and polished AMMONITES- they made for some stunning new pairs of earrings and they all sold out super quickly!
I just sourced 5 more pairs to create another, long awaited limited-release batch!
One of the most widely known fossils, Ammonites are eoliths of now-extinct marine mollusks called ammonoids that became extinct 65 million years ago. (The name ammonite comes from the God Ammon, who had spiral ram horns and was originally an Ethiopian or Libyan deity that later was worshipped all over Egypt and parts of Greece.)
Ammonites are primarily associated with the third eye chakra, with a secondary in the root chakra. Though ammonite is not a birthstone, it has come to relate to the zodiac signs of Aquarius and Cancer.
Bookmatched Ammonites are 3/4" tall x 1/2" at their widest.
SMALL Brass hoops are 1 1/8" wide at their widest
These hang 2 1/8" from Sterling Silver earwires to bottom of hoops.
