Diamond-Shaped Snake Hoops in Brass with Heishi Beads

2025 marked the Year of the Wood Snake and I felt especially drawn to creating snake designs during such intense and transformative times. Across many cultures the snake symbolizes renewal, protection, healing and the continual shedding of old layers.

After first offering these snakes suspended simply from earwires, I found that placing them inside our large forged diamond-shaped hoops gave the design a much stronger presence. The addition of tiny heishi bead accents adds subtle texture and movement while keeping the earrings balanced and lightweight for their scale.
