Chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel”. It is a concept best described as centers of spiritual energy within the body. There are 7 major chakras. Each one has specific associations with certain elements, glands, colors, gemstones and physical and emotional disorders. Each one is also related to a personality trait, which can manifest in positive or negative ways depending if it’s energy is balanced or imbalanced. These pendants are visual reminders to help you focus on whichever chakra you’re working to balance. I love wearing mine!

Each Chakra Charm is made with 24k gold on the front and is strung on a 16" faceted bead necklace. It is fused the the sliver through heat and pressure. I love how the oxidized silver edge frames it. 

1st Chakra: Root - located at the base of the spine. This Chakra is related to survival, our body and identity as an individual. Our health, constitution and security including material wealth are also linked to it. Also: focus, stability, grounding, physical energy, balance of physical body and clearing of fear. Associated body parts: kidneys and bladder, the vertebral column, hips and legs.

The Root Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Garnet beads. Garnet is the stone of health, it assists in flow of energy, removes negative energy and promotes physical healing.

2nd Chakra: Sacral - located in the lower abdomen. This Chakra is associated with emotions, feelings, states of desire and imagination. Also sexual creativity, primal understanding, relief of tension, augment relationships. Associated body parts: sacral, reproductive organs, lower abdomen.

The Sacral Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Sunstone beads. Sunstone is a happy and sharing stone, integrating the parts of our communal lives, bringing things and people together. It is a stone of physical pleasure and intimacy. In lighter shades, Orange Sunstone promotes companionship and affection, while darker crystals deepen the sense of belonging and home.

3rd Chakra: Solar Plexus - located an inch or two above the navel. This Chakra is the focus point for our power and will. Our sense of power, ego and authority, as well as self-control and discipline are centered here. Also: sensitivity, clearing of anger, augment joy. Associated body parts: liver, spleen, stomach and small intestine

The Solar Plexus Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Rutilated Quartz beads. Rutilated Quartz is an illuminator for the soul, promoting spiritual growth. It cleanses and energises the aura. Draws off negative energy and disease, letting go of the past. Rutilated Quartz gives protection against the ill thoughts of others.

4th Chakra: Heart - located at the center of the chest and is associated with love and understanding, limitless compassion and empathy and forgiveness. Also: Protection, love, harmony, connection, release of rejection, augment love. Associated body parts: heart and breasts

The Heart Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Peridot beads. Peridot is known as the stone of compassion, it is believed to bring good health, restful sleep and peace to relationships by balancing emotions and mind.

5th Chakra: Throat - located in the center of the throat. It is linked to our creativity and ability to communicate. Also: proper judgment, ideal resolutions, release of temerity, augment self-expression. Associated body parts: throat and lungs

The Throat Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Turquoise Beads. Turquoise has often been associated with protection, luck, and abundance. In many cultures, it is believed that wearing turquoise can ward off negative energies and bring good fortune.

6th Chakra: Third Eye - located in the center of the head behind your eyebrows. It is related to our ability to perceive clearly. Also: Intuition, insight, imagination, spiritual connectedness, visualization into manifestation, clearing of grief, augment healing and imagination. Associated body parts: eyes and sinuses

The Third Eye Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Lapis beads. Lapis can help open the part of the mind that brings with it the knowing that you are part of "All that is". 7th Chakra: Crown - located at the very top of the head. It is associated with divine wisdom, our spirit, our Oneness with the Universe, our unity with all that is, perception beyond the confines of space and time and Enlightenment. Associated body parts: brain

The Crown Chakra pendent comes on a strand of Amethyst beads. Amethyst is a stone of the mind. It helps to bring calmness and clarity where there is anxiety and confusion. It helps one learn of all things spiritual, mystic and psychic. It also especially aids in overcoming addiction. Amethyst fosters healing and selflessness, and is associated with increased nobility, spiritual awareness, meditation, balance, psychic abilities, inner peace, and positive transformation.
