I always thought I was born into the wrong time. Then PMC came along and I knew I was right where I belonged. It’s like being around when someone first applied paint to canvas, a hammer to metal.
I've been making jewelry for over a decade. I
graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Art and English in
2001. That year I met renowned jewelry artist, Celie Fago and became
her apprentice and teaching assistant. For 9 years I accompanied her in
her travels around the country and abroad. Now I have my own studio in
Northern VT but I still work with Celie often.
I’ve sold my work at craft shows and in galleries across Vermont and been included in exhibits in the US, UK and Japan. My work has been featured in top jewelry magazines and several books; and made the cover of the Lark book "Stitched Jewels".
I love what I do and I no longer feel like I’m in the wrong time. I feel so lucky to be here, now.
*The JK symbol that I use is not only my initials, it is also the Chinese symbol for "Forever".
